數學日活動 Maths Day

數學科於6月24日(一)為一至六年級同學舉辦了【數學日】活動。各項活動以不同形式進行,當中包括課堂STEM學習活動、數學問答比賽、攤位遊戲、成果分享及數學閱讀活動,學生表現投入。

 

課堂STEM學習活動

一年級 萬年曆

二年級 自製厘米尺

三年級 製作天秤

四年級 製作指南針

五年級 大廈建築師

六年級 紙碟滾球

 

是次活動以個人形式進行,各級同學均需按著一個數學主題,發揮創意,設計及製作出獨一無二的作品,供同學們欣賞。同學們的作品均別樹一幟,甚具個人特色! 

 

攤位遊戲(P.1-6) : 希望透過不同的遊戲,提升學生的數學探究能力及興趣。

Kahoot!數學問答比賽(P.1-6) :是次問答比賽以個人形式進行,考驗每一位同學的個人運算能力。每班設有冠軍、亞軍及季軍各一名。同學們表現十分認真,務求爭取佳績,奪取個人榮耀。

 

透過【數學日】各個多元化的活動,期望能提升同學們學習數學的興趣、數學解難能力、創作能力和欣賞數學的能力。

 

The Maths Day was held on 24th June (Mon) for P 1-6 students. The activities were carried out in different forms, including classroom STEM learning activities, Maths quiz, booth games, sharing of results and Maths reading activities, which were well received by the students.

 

Classroom STEM Learning Activities

P.4: Compass Making

P.5: Building Architects

P.6: Disc Bowling

 

This activity was conducted on an individual basis. Students of all levels were required to design and produce a unique piece of artwork based on a mathematical theme. All the students' works were unique!

 

Booth games (P.1-6): We hope to enhance students' ability and interest in Mathematics through different games.

Kahoot! Maths Quiz (P.1-6): This quiz competition was conducted in individual form to test the arithmetic ability of each student. There were one champion, one first runner-up and one second runner-up in each class. The students were very serious in trying to achieve the best results and win the personal honour.

 

Through the various activities of the Maths Day, we hope to enhance students' interest in learning mathematics, their ability to solve mathematical problems, their creativity and their appreciation of mathematics.
